We Wander is a candid photographic study of perspective and scale. In these monochrome digital photographs, otherwise unedited, vast minimalist landscapes become a field against which human presence is measured. Figures appear as traces of life and interaction, held within an almost infinite depth of field that keeps near and far equally sharp and equally exposed to view. The work does not direct the scene. The photographer stands inside the landscape and records what unfolds there. Scale is unsettled not by manipulation, but by placement: a body against distance, a gesture against emptiness, a brief social moment against terrain that exceeds it. The title names that condition. “We” includes the people in the frame, the person making the picture, and those who later stand before it. “Wander” describes a way of being in space that has no destination—only presence, observation, and the quiet distortion of proportion that occurs when life is seen inside something far larger than itself.
